The pipe band was formed by Pipe Major Mark Jamieson supported by a select  group of like minded traditional musicians who believed that above all else, playing in a musical ensemble should be enjoyable and fun.

The band endeavours to maintain and open, honest and safe environment where all are equal and everyone is supported to fulfil their musical potential.  Hopefully with a laugh or two along the way.

The band meets most weeks at All Saints Church, Pavement, Pocklington, East Yorkshire, YO42 2AX from 7pm until 9.30pm on  Tuesdays.

If you are interested in finding out more on taking up this interesting new hobby or maybe a player and looking for a new band, please get in touch for more information.

Coronavirus Pandemic:  During these exceptional times, the band continues to practice every Tuesday.  We have very  recently returned to “traditional” practices albeit in strict adherence to government guidelines.  Please click through the events link for more details.     We also continue to provide group and 1:1 tuition via Skype supported by a cloud based classroom.  If you would like to learn or resurrect your playing career, we’d love to hear from you.
